DMG Constic Selfetch Selfbond Flowable / Self-etching & self-adhesive Dental Composite

Constic is a light-cured, self-etching, self-adhesive, radiopaque, flowable restorative composite indicated for a diverse set of clinical indications. Constic offers etching, bonding, and filling in a single step, so it helps to reduce errors and saves time. It provides the dentist with a clinically flexible, multi-purpose tool for various applications such as cavity liners, pit and fissure sealant, repairs and modifications to for Class I, III and V, provisional restorations and more. It has a high bond strength and comes available in shades A1, A2, A3, A3.5, B1 and Opaque White.

• Sophisticated Science, Simple Handling : Reliable adhesion without other materials: No easy task for a composite. Typically, this requires special bonding molecules, like those in Constic. Based on successful bonding systems, molecules were developed that can etch enamel and dentin, bond with them like a glass ionomer, and also co-polymerize with the composite. In order to make bonding easier for the molecules, it helps to massage in Constic thoroughly. The self-neutralizing acid groups then react with the moist enamel and dentin, forming a durable tooth-like chemical bond. Please note: In order to prevent unwanted activation of Constic, it must remain refrigerated at all times when not in use.
• Secure Bonding, Scientifically Proven : The shear bond strengths measured in a study by C. A. Munoz-Viveros at the State University of New York at Buffalo* demonstrate great results for Constic on enamel and dentin. The bond strength values for Constic exceed those of the other self-etching, self-adhesive flowable composites tested in the study.
