Coltene ParaBond is a chemical-curing, self-conditioning adhesive system for enamel and dentin. It consists of a Non-Rinse Conditioner and a chemical-curing adhesive (Adhesive A and B). It is designed for use in deep cavities, situations where light might not penetrate, and for cementation of posts, metal crowns, or opaque ceramics.
Features:
- Self-conditioning: The Non-Rinse Conditioner can be used, or phosphoric acid can be used as an alternative

- Chemical curing: Does not require light activation, making it suitable for situations where light penetration is limited
- Minimizes sensitivities: Seals the tooth surface, reducing the risk of post-operative sensitivities
Application:
- Preparation: Clean the tooth surface with water and dry with air
- Conditioning: Apply the Non-Rinse Conditioner or phosphoric acid according to the manufacturer's instructions, then dry
- Adhesive: Mix equal amounts of Adhesive A and B, apply to the prepared surface, and dry
- Cementation: Cement the restoration within 5 minutes of applying the adhesive
