Colgate Total Waxed Dental Floss is a dental tape made with high-quality nylon fibers and coated with wax to provide a smooth glide between teeth without shredding or breaking. It is designed to remove plaque and food particles from areas a toothbrush cannot reach, promoting healthier gums and helping to prevent tooth decay.

Features:

  • Easy Sliding: The wax coating helps the floss slide easily into tight spaces and between teeth, making the flossing process more comfortable and preventing injury to the gums.
  • Durable and Shred-Resistant: The strong construction of the floss helps it resist shredding, fraying, or tearing during use, ensuring reliable performance.
  • Improved Oral Health: Regular daily use helps protect gums, reduce tooth decay, and contributes to overall better oral hygiene.
  • Effective Cleaning: It is designed to effectively remove dental plaque and food debris from along the gum line and between the teeth, which are critical areas for preventing gum disease and cavities.

Directions to Use:

  • Break off about 18-24 inches (approximately the length of your arm) of the floss.
  • Wind most of the floss around your middle fingers, leaving a short section (about 1-2 inches) to work with, and hold it tightly with your thumbs and index fingers.
  • Gently guide the floss between your teeth using a careful back-and-forth or zigzag motion, taking care not to snap it into your gums.
  • Curve the floss around the base of each tooth in a 'C' shape.
  • Scrape the sides of the tooth by moving the floss gently up and down.
  • Move to a fresh section of floss for each tooth and repeat the process for all teeth, including the back side of the last molars.
  • Rinse your mouth with water or mouthwash after flossing.
